I started over from the Prologue and have just finished Episode 20 again. It is just as nuanced and exciting the second time around even with the benefit of having already heard through episode 27.

I don’t know if I could handle just one episode a week the second time around but listening to 4-5 during my commute is really something. It’s not necessarily better, you don’t have as long to ponder, but the continuity allows different things to come to the fore.

That’s aside from the fact that it makes the pre dawn commute go by like nothing as well as the drive home in traffic. In fact, I look for excuses to drive further.

Then there is the additional benefit that with my mind engaged I stay alert — you guys keep me safe and entertained!

Well we are glad that we could keep you safe. I don’t like to listen to things week to week but you are correct that it gives you a different perspective especially when you can go after the fact and re-listen to those chapters. I specifically designed this book to be analyzed so people who have different tastes can still discuss it. I like stories with different levels of characterization and plot so I was hoping to do something along those lines. We’ll see if i’m able to pull that off. Also Dan, I got your email and I will write you back properly when I have the chance.
